Food was great, service was terrible, wont be eating here again. Phyllis was a horrible server.

Friendly and casual. Brenda made our evening. The food was fresh and well prepared. Service was attentive and helpful. My favorite was the cheesecake dessert. The cider was excellent. Brenda was a treat. A wonderful restaurateur and a great story teller. We had an amazing evening. Thanks to "the Boss".

Visiting Radium Hot Springs for 3 nights we stopped by this restaurant twice. You pay a big price but you get tastey food and good size portions. Friendly servers made for pleasant meals.

Great food and service. Wait staff very pleasant. Had the trout with baked baby potatoes. Excellent.

Really good restaurant! Went here about 20 mins before they closed and I was just going to order some take out so we weren't there after close, as I was with the kids n stuff. But the ladies working said oh no issue you guys can definitely take a seat! Not a problem! Was really awesome having a good meal after a long drive all day. We had the family rib meal and it was really good, everyone overly enjoyed themselves. Thanks a bunch to the staff that helped us out before closing. Y'all the real mvp's

Great food after a long day of hiking. The Rib/Chicken dinner for 2 hit the spot. Service was outstanding, but the place was empty on this Monday night.

Beautiful place that was a surprise to stop in. Food was delicious and service wonderful. Had the ribs, the sauciest plate of yum that I've ever had.

You cannot miss this place! I can’t comprehend the negative comments below but if all were true, I’ll be the first to tell you they’ve improved. The portions are huge so come here either on an empty stomach or after a long hike. My fiancé ordered the ribs special. The waitress was not wrong when she said it’s a pile of ribs. Ribs came stacked in 3 layers. Our waitress was friendly, tended to us right away and knowledgeable. The restaurant advertises their ribs, bbq and seafood and there is an abundance of that on their menu. I truly enjoyed my experience here and will definitely be back. In fact, I will definitely be back every time I’m in Radium.

This place had great food for great prices, with fantastic service from our waitress. Really enjoyed the little charm of the restaurant!

Not bad, but not great. Would give it a 3.5 if I could. Steak was very thin, and dry, not worth $25. Burger patty was thick, and well done, which makes it dry. If the patty was medium it could have been juicier. The ribs were good though.

What a great experience!!! Service was spectacular! Very informative about the menu and helpful with making selections!! Lots to choose from in the menu. Very cosy place to come for a casual dinner. I had the 1/2 rack ribs and they were cooked perfectly! Definitely recommend this place to anyone driving though or staying in radium !!!!

I would have given this place more stars if 1) my husband's chili had been hot and flavorful and 2) they actually turned on the heat. It was FREEZING in there. The place is a cute roadhouse. There's a good selection on the menu. I had a cheesesteak loaded with mushrooms, peppers, and onions that was delicious. The side salad left a lot to be desired. The menu said "salad with greens", but it was just cut up iceberg lettuce. The staff was very friendly. It's a decent place to eat, and definitely a good choice if you don't want German food, which is what the other restaurants serve.

Nice setting with a 60's feel. Tables & chairs are all wooden. Food is quite nice but on a pricey side. The platter for families to share was OK priced, but menu is not very self explanatory as some sides requires additional charge.

Great staff great service, great food. I spent a week in Radium and decided it was the only place to eat dinner for the week. My kids had a blast!

Back Country Jacks is so great! The interior is beautiful though we ate on the patio. The chef made me a tomato based pasta even though alfredo was their pasta of the day because I had had alfredo the day before. The flavor was great, everyone there was happy, and you can see mountains from the patio. Love it.

Decent place, the kids loved there burgers and real fries! Wings were good but you can tell they were reheated 🙁! Lack of beer selection! Server was good although he did forget an order I'll sum that up to human error! The place has major potential! Could be a 5 star place!

Best burger in BC - I have not tasted many other burgers in BC but this one sure was satisfying and excellent! Good value too.

Great ribs and meatloaf, the gravy was delicious. My little one loved his riblets and fresh cut fries. The owners made us feel like family and the service was very fast.

Its an amazing restaurant with very friendly service and the food is wonderful. They have the best dry ribs ever. Their steak sandwiches and meatloaf are great too. Steak very tender with little to no fat on them. Huge portions. I would recommend this place to everyone

Their black jack burger is amazing loaded and big plus the fries taste sooo good, all six of us earthing there were pleased with it and full. Also they make an amazing ceaser it’s the best ever. Their lava cake is also delicious. Gotta try it.

It is such a great experience eating here. They have a huge patio with every seat having a view. If you habh little children, they even have plenty of toys for kiddo to play with.The food is delicious, and even a 6'4 guy like me had to get a go-box.

Wanted a steak on our first night in Radium and boy did we come to the right place! One steak sandwich blue rare and one New York medium rare. Both done to perfection and no fat or gristle. Homemade baked beans were yummy and the baby roasted potatoes nicely seasoned. We shared a Caesar salad. Some might say the dressing was too creamy but we liked it and at least it wasn’t overly garlicky. We’re from Alberta where we appreciate good beef and trust us, this was GOOD beef! Service from server Amber was fast and friendly and her recommendations spot on. We shall return.

What an awesome restaurant in Radium! We came here for dinner and I ordered the surf n turf... the owner herself cooked my steak and nailed the blue rare cook dead on! Better than most cooks in Alberta! Thanks so much for dinner, we will definitely be back 😊😊😊

I had taken a few days off for R & R and decided to stop in Radium Hot Springs. I'd been driving all day so decided to stop and eat. I looked around and spotted this inside outside restaurant called Back Country Jacks. As I walked into their outside area a friendly server came over and asked where I wanted to sit. I replied I love outside! She asked if she could get me something to drink and handed me a menu. I decided to have the T-Bone steak special and it was incredibly good. Dressed with onions and mushrooms were a real compliment. If I ever get back to Radium Hot Springs I will definately go back.

Delicious taco salad and very friendly server last night

Tried this place more than once for some reason! Food is ok but the service is terrible. Pretty much every other restaurant in Radium is better.
